Years ago, I wrote a romance that was serialized and printed on the labels of coffee cans for a company that delivered coffee on a weekly basis to its regular customers. Each week for 6 weeks, an episode of my story was featured on a coffee label. This romance was a fun story to write, and although I’m predominantly a children’s author, I enjoy incorporating elements of romance in many of my novels and stories for teens or adults.
Have you been thinking of writing a romance?
Well, now you can! And I’ll show you how to do it in just 6 weeks!
In my new coaching program – Write a Romance in 5 Simple Steps – I’ll work one-on-one with you for 6 weeks – through emails and private coaching calls – to help you create a marketable romance ready to submit to an editor or agent.
We’ll use my new book – Write a Romance in 5 Simple Steps – as our “textbook” for this program.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
Week 1 – Inspiration
I’ll show you how to study the romance markets so you know what kind of romance you really want to write and which publishers will be most likely to buy this type of romance. If you figure this out BEFORE you start writing, it will be much easier to write a story that is likely to attract the attention of an editor or agent.
Week 2 – Research & Organize
Once you’ve decided on the type of romance you wish to write, you’ll spend the first part of Week 2 doing the research necessary to create believeable characters and a credible storyline and setting.
During the second part of Week 2, you’ll create a project notebook, conduct character interviews and turn them into character profiles, and you’ll start creating your storyline.
Weeks 3, 4, and 5 – Writing
You’ll spend most of weeks 3,4, and 5 writing your romance. But first, I’ll show you how to set up a regular writing schedule. Next, I’ll show you how to take your storyline and turn it into a plot. Then you’ll break that plot into chapters, and next you’ll break down each chapter into scenes. Once you’ve done all that, you’ll simply write your story – scene by scene.
Week 6 – Publish
During the final week of this program, you’ll find out how to submit your manuscript to an agent or publisher. I’ll also give you information about different self-publishing options.
I’ve made it easy to pay for this one-on-one coaching program, too!
You have two options.
The first option is to pay in two easily affordable payments of just $299.98 each here now:
The second option is to make just one payment of $539.97 - and SAVE $60.00 – here now:
Registration includes one copy of my book – Write a Romance in 5 Simple Steps. And the book will be sent to you as soon as your registration is received. At that time, I will also email you to schedule our first coaching call. During the program, we’ll have one 60 minute call (or some weeks two 30-minute calls) per week.
If you have any questions about this program, just email them to me at [email protected].
I look forward to working with you to create your first riveting romance!
