About the book Saved by a Whistle

It is a beautiful day when a policeman comes to speak to the children at school about child safety. Scooter and Chowie are impressed and have no idea they’re about to find out for themselves exactly what he’s talking about. They stop after school to play in the park with their friends instead of taking the bus, and when they forget the time, they get caught up in an exciting and scary walk home. Readers will never forget this charming suspenseful story where Scooter and Chowie learn more than one valuable lesson before they finally make their way home.
