Nancy Sanders

Nancy I. Sanders and Her New Book!

Last Thursday, children’s author Nancy I. Sanders presented Part 1 of a special 2-part teleclass for members of the Children’s Writer’s Coaching Club and other writers who signed up for the class. The class was all about the importance of VOICE in fiction and nonfiction. In Part 1, Nancy focused on how to find your author voice.

This was a wonderful teleclass. It gave me and other listeners a lot to think about in terms of how voice and point of view go together.

If you missed Part 1, you can still get the replay of this event. And, you can sign up for Part 2 that will take place next month.

Just go to www.getrealresources.com to find out more.

Here are a few more photos from the ALA Conference I attended in Chicago last week. Actually, I didn’t take these photos. They came from Lisa Rondinelli Albert who also attended the conference. Thanks, Lisa!

Chicago - navy pier
Navy Pier – Chicago

I got home last night from the ALA annual conference in Chicago. I had a fabulous time. Met other children’s authors, talked to two of my publishers (Brian and Mark Enslow), a variety of editors, and other people in publishing.

Kansas City seems like such a sleepy little town after all the activity in Chicago! Navy Pier is a great place to sit and watch the people and boats go by! Wish I could have stayed there longer!
