i have a question and i’m hoping that you can help me go in the right direction. i am currently attempting to author some children’s books. i have some wonderful ideas for the books in how they should look and the stories,so unique and different from any that ive seen or read. i need to know…whats the first step i should take in attempting to get my ideas published. for example,i have created a make-shift of one book thats close to the vision i have for it,along with the story but without the illustrations that i would like to see. do i find a publishing co. first, that will print my book and then hire a publisist and then an agent or is there some other routes i need to consider? any advice would be greatly appreciated because my life has been nothing short of “tragic”. i’m disabled and have nothing to my name and want to make something of my gifts to show my devoted parents that i will make it and be able to do for them, before they die,something special to show my love and appreciation of them. thank you very much!
